Top 5 Events of 2023
As 2023 ends, it is the perfect time to look back and remember all the fabulous and fun events at RidgeCrest. Our team pushed the boundaries to create unique experiences for our Members. The dedicated Social and Wellness Directors created detailed, packed calendars that gave our Members plenty of adventures! From sensational Signature Experiences to hoppin’ happy hours to exciting excursions and so much more, this year was one for the record books, making it difficult to narrow down our top events.
Get ready to count down our top five events for this year:
5. Fall Fest 2023
It’s finally Fall again! From delicious foods, tasty beer, and seasonal serenades, these events kicked off the season right! Our Members enjoyed workout classes that trained them to pick up heavy pumpkins, had classic autumn foods like apple strudel and stew, and tasted many different beers.
4. Paris Chef’s Table
Best of Ballroom Dance from Winston-Salem, North Carolina, performed while attendees dined on a delightful meal. Chef Dianna and her team executed a fantastic 5-course dinner that Members cannot stop raving about. The menu included:
- Smoked Salmon Spoon
- Prosciutto-Wrapped Melon Trio
- Roasted Squash Soup with Cheese Quenelle
- Braised Short Rib with Fingerling Potato, Swiss Chard, and Pea Shoot Garnish
- Lemon, Raspberry Mille-Feuille
3. Anniversary Celebrations
“You’re my sun and moon and all of my stars. For all of my days!” RidgeCrest is grateful for the opportunity to celebrate every milestone of its Members. These two love birds have everyone in the community saying “aw,” as they are just as in love as they were 65 years ago!
2. Winston-Salem Dash
Hey, batter batter, SWING! RidgeCrest loves to support all things local. This year, our Members took a trip to the Winston-Salem Dash play the Greenville Drive! Members enjoyed delicious popcorn, cracker jacks, and a classic Coca-Cola! The Winston-Salem Dash were victorious during this game.
1. Dan’l Boone Inn
RidgeCrest is located in Mt. Airy, North Carolina, so we can easily access the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway! Our Members ventured to Boone, North Carolina, to try the historic Dan’l Boone Inn Restaurant! This restaurant opened in 1959 and has been a staple in Boone ever since. They offer a family-style format, and Members loved every dish they tried!
And just like that, this year is ending, and we are ready to start another fantastic year full of fabulous events. We can’t wait to see what this year holds and how it will surpass this year’s events!
